MND’s press release to explain the case “For better operation, there will be a helicopter landing practice on 19th in the HQ compound” (October 17th, 2017)
MND indicated (17th) that there would be a helicopter landing practice on 19th in the HQ compound and the detail is as follows:
One S-70C from Air Force and one UH-60M from Army would execute the landing under the scheduled safety control and the time would be 0650 to 0710 on 19th.
Considering the safety of Songshan Airport MND has completed the coordination with CAA and the Songshan tower to reduce the influence to the airport and the schools nearby.
The Forces would continue the combat practice to show the determination of self-defence.
